The Backend Developer will be responsible for developing our backend infrastructure, and build cutting edge solutions in the Fintech and Payments space.

You will work with, and report directly to the CTO. This will be a combination of high level strategy, coupled with hands-on execution. We’re growing, and all-hands are on deck.

What You’ll Do

‍

• Work closely with product owners to deliver high-performing, scalable backend applications and API services/products
• Build distributed and scalable , customer-facing web applications and API products from the ground up using modern technologies.
• Maintain, enhance and improve the backend empowering our platform.
• Have full ownership over designing, implementing, and testing features and services that make up our backend/platform.

What We Look For  

‍

• +3 years experience in NodeJS on distributed and scalable environments 
• Knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks - a must.
• Working knowledge of payments/financial technologies - a big advantage. 
• A belief that code must be well-tested, code reviewed and checked in regularly
• Past experience in working at startups - an advantage. 
• Smart and down to earth - a must. No big egos here. 
• Can-do attitude, positivity, and full accountability mindset
